The position is for an event sponsorship sales professional.
Search for, locate, and negotiate contracts for event sponsorships for a fundraising event in New York City. Create and manage a list of leads, follow up with persons or companies contacted and bring those leads to contract. Frequent communication with management is necessary.
The qualified individual will have one year experience with sponsorship sales development and execution. Spoken and written English proficiency is required along with basic skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, use of email and fax machines.
The position pays a Twenty percent (20%) commission on all sales generated by the successful candidate.
