Johanna Burke, Esq. is Attorney-Rights Management & Contracts-Senior IP Administrator at Pearson Education, Inc. in Upper Saddle River, NJ. She also has a private practice in special education law and from time to time helps clients with autism.
Ms. Burke is a loving wife and dedicated mother of two sons. Her handsome son Aidan (12) is autistic. His younger brother Dailey (10), does not have autism, but serves as advocate for his autistic sibling. Both teenage boys are her superheroes.
Ms. Burke also serves as founder and president of Fight4Autism, Inc. She serves as director and special advisor to Autism Citizen, Inc.
Ms. Burke is a licensed, practicing attorney in New Jersey. She is a graduate of Seton Hall Law School in Newark, New Jersey and obtained her undergraduate degree in Accounting from Montclair State University, New Jersey. Johanna lives in northern New Jersey with her husband of 15 years and their 2 children. She was the Walk Co-Chair for the Northern NJ Autism Speaks Walk for 2014 and has been a Member of the Northern NJ Autism Speaks Community Awareness Committee for the past 6 years. She was a Board Trustee for the Hawthorne Board of Education and the Chairperson for the Special Education Committee for the Board of Education.
She is now Board Secretary for Autism Citizen, Inc. and a most tireless, dedicated advocate for autism.
